Once you’ve found a lace wig in a trendy style that perfectly flatters your features, the only thing left to do is adhere it. Many people overlook this crucial phase, but it is an imperative step in making your wig undetectable. There is a variety of lace wig adhesives on the market, and they all have there own distinct advantages.

Personally, I stay away from tape adhesives, which, in my experience, don’t provide an adequate bond. Instead, I opt for a , which lasts for weeks and is completely safe. When you purchase your adhesive, be sure to invest in some solvent and scalp protector as well—as I mentioned, they’re designed to stick for a month.

If you are looking to buy a new lace wig, you have two main options: full lace and front lace. For those looking for a high-quality yet economical product, front lace wigs are tailor-made. Because they only have lace in the front, they are more affordable than their counterparts are, but your styling options are limited. For those seeking unparalleled quality and versatility, Remy full lace wigs are the way to go. They feature:

~Remy hair, which is virgin hair with the entire cuticle intact

~Lace on the entire cap, allowing for unsurpassed versatility, including updos and ponytails

~Lightweight construction, providing for a comfortable fit in any and all conditions

My sister’s wedding is coming up in a couple of weeks, and we’ve been frantically making the final preparations. She is a chronic procrastinator, and a few days ago she realized she was well behind schedule. So, as the maid of honor, she’s sought out my assistance as we get down to crunch time. I certainly don’t mind helping my sister—in fact, planning the wedding has actually been kind of fun.

However, I also have to make sure that I’m prepared for the big day. Because while I won’t we walking down the aisle, I will be standing up at the altar during the nuptials. Luckily, my sister has amazing taste and all of the bridesmaid dresses are exquisite. For the special occasion, I invested in a new matching set of jewelry and was able to find an affordable lace front wig so I can have a unique style.

And while this can make it easier to style you locks, adding chemicals is dangerous and the results are often suspect. If your hair is unmanageable or you are simply disenchanted with its appearance, you may want to consider lace wigs for black women.

Indian Remy Hair Weave VS Chinese Remy Hair

When selecting premium grade Remy hair it is important that you know the difference between the different types of hair. Today we will look at the differnce between Chinese and Indian hair.Indian Remy hair is finer in general but is strong enough to withstand the tensionwhen selected in a premium grade level. It is thinner in diameter than Chinese Remy hair. It holds a curl easier than Chinese Remy and is thus great for curly or wavy styles. However, Indian typically requires more effort to get it straight. That is why Chinese Remy hair is superior when it comes to straight, sleek styles – after you wash it, it dries virtually straight and requires less styling. Chinese  hair is thicker and courser than Indian hair and is therefore great for African American textures such as Yaki. Both Chinese Remy hair and Indian Remy hair can be chemically processed to mimick African American Relaxed hair.

To summarize, Chinese Remy hair is superior when it comes to straight, sleek, shiny hair while Indian hair is superior for wavey and curly hair styles. Both types of hair are commonly used in weft extensions for weaving as well as lace wigs.

Caring for Your Synthetic Lace Wig

Synthetic wigs used to be easy to discern due to their visible luster and low-quality construction. Recent developments in wig technology have antiquated these low-quality products. Premium synthetic lace wigs are created with revolutionary synthetic materials that are strong, durable and have a matte finish, eliminating the shine effect.

Taking proper care of your wig is imperative to maintain its integrity and prolong its life. A high-quality synthetic wig will last 1-2 years, but with diligent care, you can effectively extend its life. Cleaning and caring for a wig is tantamount to caring for your natural hair; wash regularly with a premium shampoo and allow the wig to dry naturally.

Synthetic Lace Wig vs. Remy Hair Lace Wigs

Synthetic hair is simply very fine plastic filaments. The structure is very different from human hair. Synthetic hair is easier to handle, due to its ability to hold the basic curl after washing. Most of them require very little styling after washing. The life of a good synthetic wig can be 4-6 months depending on receiving the proper care. Synthetic lace front wigs are more natural-looking than ever before. Synthetics can be shampooed and dried naturally with minimal care. Less costly than human hair wigs, they retain their style well, but the style cannot really be changed. This is why the majority of women who  want to wear their wigs regularly, will have at least two wigs in slightly or vastly  different styles.

Human hair lace wigs can be very expensive. And they require a great deal of care. They must be  styled daily, washed very often and are high maintenance. They require trimming and  styling by a hair stylist, usually before they can be worn. Generally speaking human  hair products can be treated as you would treat your own hair.

The fibers in High Quality synthetic hair have memory, which allows the original  styling to be restored, in most cases by simply spraying with a water bottle and drying  from underneath. An additional advantage is that synthetic fibers are not porous and  cannot absorb odors. Synthetic wigs are extremely light to wear; the average wig is less than 7 ounces.

Quality and Discount Aren’t Mutually Exclusive

The term “discount” typically conjures up images of cheap products, dollar stores and bargain bins, which isn’t always the case. Many high-quality products are often discounted in an effort to make room for new inventory and generate quick sales. While I was searching for lace front wigs the other day, I came across a website that was advertising discount lace front wigs.

As you can imagine, I was a bit skeptical about buying a “discount” wig online. After looking at the product description, however, I found that the wigs were made from premium Remy hair and were comparable to other products on the site. The selection of these discount wigs was scant, of course, but I was luckily able to find the style I was looking for and only paid about half what I was expecting to.

What is Remy Hair?

When you are purchasing a wig or hair extensions, human hair is the best way to ensure a natural, indiscernible appearance. Of course, it this assertion is moot if the hair used isn’t of the highest quality. One of the most important components for maintaining the integrity of the hair is the cuticle, which is the outermost layer of the hair.

Remy hair is a type of virgin hair, a moniker that the cuticle has remained intact. The difference between Remy and virgin hair is that Remy hair has been permed or treated. A Remy lace wig or hair extensions will be constructed from all-natural, long-lasting hair fibers and are generally considered the upper echelon of hair products

From Thin To Fabulous

My daughter has beautiful, long auburn hair. The only problem is that it’s a little on the thin side. And she’s always complaining to me that she can’t style her hair how she wants it. When her junior prom was coming up, I made her an appointment at my salon to get her hair done.

When she returned from the appointment, her hair looked amazing. Her normally thin locks were thick and shiny and curled softly around her shoulders. It turned out the beautician has suggested some clip on human hair extensions and she had liked the idea. I don’t know why I never thought of hair extensions before. I am actually thinking of getting some myself.
